Math Curriculum
Classes at Math Monkey
It is not easy teaching children math and getting them to develop an interest in the subject. To motivate a child, we need to present whatever we have to offer attractively and more efficiently, and that is exactly what Math Monkey has achieved through its carefully constructed curriculum.
It’s All Fun and Games!
Math Monkey is a place where your kid hone her mathematical skills and yet having fun through the engagement of games and activities that we organised. Math Monkey considers the fact that children can best experience learning through fun. That is why all the classes held at Math Monkey infuse fun and games to teach kids mathematics, using Vedic Math as a base.

The Curriculum
So, what makes Math Monkey unique is the new way we teach mathematics to children? There are three essential elements involved in the teaching programs at Math Monkey:
(1) Games in Classes at Math Monkey
(2) Honing Mental Abilities
(3) Ability-Based Teaching

Teaching Methodology at Math Monkey
The logic applied to teaching at Math Monkey rests on the fact that the type of traditional learning taught in schools tend to inhibit the brain’s function of natural knowledge, due to negative factors like worrying about getting fewer marks and feeling stressed out. This feeling creates a dread for school in children.
On the other hand, Math Monkey applies the ‘play to learn’ principle to the curriculum that make kids associate numbers with fun rather than work. This association nurtures the brain’s natural learning capacity, which goes through the following stages:
Curiosity
An unknown situation or object generates curiosity
Explore
This motivates the child to explore the unknown
Test
The child puts these unknown factors to various tests
Repeat
On achieving desirable results, the child is encouraged to repeat the method to solve a problem
Master
Repetition results in mastering a concept or skill
Games at Math Monkey
Vedic Math Certified Teachers at Math Monkey use these principles to teach the skills of Vedic Math to students by organising games and fun activities into the curriculum. These games vary from one age group to another, with a total of seven groups for children from age 4 to 12.
